$GENESIS Farming

This guide is designed for users who already have GAME on the Ethereum network.

Requirements:

1. Metamask Installed

2. GAME balance on Polygon in Metamask

3. Matic balance on Polygon in Metamask to cover gas fees for farming

Note: If your GAME is still on Ethereum, read Moving GAME to Polygon first.

Step 1 - Connect to the genesis.game site

Open Metamask and switch the network selector to Polygon Mainnet from Ethereum Mainnet. Then browse to https://genesis.game/farming. You will be met with the GENESIS farming interface. Click CONNECT WEB 3 to connect your metamask wallet to the site.

Select Metamask.

Confirm the connection by clicking Next, then Connect in Metamask.

Step 2 - Farm $GENESIS with your $GAME

Once connected, you'll see your GAME balance on the Polygon network as below. This is also indicated in the top right hand portion of the site. Click FARM GENESIS to start farming.

Select how much GAME you would like to farm for GENESIS. Then click STAKE GAME.

You will be prompted by Metamask to confirm the deposit to the GENESIS farming smart contract. Click Confirm to complete the transaction.

The GENESIS farm interface will notify you when the transaction has successfully completed. You can close the window at this time.

You are now farming GENESIS. Congratulations! 🎉 You will notice your MY FARMED GENESIS balance increasing immediately. You can click HARVEST GENESIS at any time to withdraw your farmed GENESIS rewards to your Metamask account. WITHDRAW GAME allows you to withdraw your GAME back to Metamask if you no longer wish to farm. Farming APR varies based on the total amount of GAME staked in the GENESIS farming pool. The GENESIS farming pool has no lock periods and no minimum GAME deposits to begin farming.
